This month marks 3 years since we started publishing comics in ragamuffin. Unfortunately, we were able to break the hiatus and going for more than 6 months. However at this time we could meet some of you in person as well as other colleagues in the exhibition curated by Luis Gantus.
What we want now is to share with you some things we could not post on blogs. Things like the series with which we collaborate in the journal Tempest, where two characters inspired by our friends, intellectuals Memo and Oscar discuss things very high, or Rey Neza, a comic that time never published and where we give our own irreverent version of Mesoamerican history.
What we did is to publish an anthology of ragamuffin Comics, including best Hitlercito strips and Dog, Cat and Squirrel , and other strips that do not develop as much as Dragon and Tiger , Octopus eyelet, This is not life, sooner or later (photocomic) , Archie Asshole and Frutalia. addition to this selection, we'll make sure to include some unpublished strips each to also be a bit of a surprise.
This edition will have an extremely small print run, we're thinking about 50. Although we sell virtually at cost, so small print run will not be cheap (as it will have a budget here.) By the same token, we greatly appreciate their support if they buy one of these volumes.
We send a big greeting and thank you for your continued support in good times and bad. Meanwhile if you have any request, suggestion or just want to share ideas for this book is in the process we would appreciate if you let it in the comments.
a greeting,
-Storms and Cavallazzi.
